Are people dying more often now than any time in history? One would argue one way or the other. More than any time in history we are moving at break neck speeds. We have more automobiles, airplanes, subways, and nuclear resources. More people die from murder each day in the combined cities of New York and Los Angeles than are killed each day in Iraq. Are we people who have become numb to violent deaths? Do we no longer care about who or how someone dies anymore?
